I haven't read Insomnia, but I have seen the movie. (was pretty good) I dunno, I couldn't get into "The Dark Tower" Series, it was too..almost western.
I liked "Four Past Midnight" and "The Stand" <--My fav. ;)

~Jenka

the stand is my favorite too! (by the way SK actually links dark tower to THAT too :D ) I intend to read Firestarter when i find it in the library (that also subtly links to the stand).

the book is good. i havent seen the movie. Ive seen the Stand movie.

Yeah its (dark tower) very much like a western but it interweaves mythology (mostly of Kings own making), some of it very good. But a couple of the books needed shortning. maybe i'll finish the series one day! Dark Tower has been a very long work in progress for King.

I also like 'Salems lot and the Tommyknockers. Many of his short stories are brilliant too. :D

I am reading House right now by Ted Dekker....OH my goodness....beats Stephen King by a long shot! I am scared and I only began it really today!

hmmm, id have to try it. I like Dean Koontz but couldnt compare himto King, im not saying King is better, because Koontz's style is different. So i like them the same.

Lol! "IT" is probably the scariest one. The others aren't the scary, at least most of them.
(I saw "The Stand" movie too, wasn't it like 6 hours long? *saw it awhile ago* )

I am currently reading "Pollyanna"~Eleanor H. Porter. Is so sweet, and a good reminder for being glad in everything too. :D

I am reading the entire Chronicles of Narnia series( it's all in one book so it counts... its a very large book) And I am currently reading "Prince Caspian"

By C.S. Lewis

That would be a cool “book” to have. I have the complete series—but they are 7 separate books instead of one big one. I have a feeling having them all bound together as one book would take up less shelf space.
