30 was my cold water to face moment. Its the age when you start to consolidate, or think about doing so. Things swim into focus, priorities align. The world becomes sharper. My 20s were a little bit vague.. I had a somewhat hazy view of 30+. At 31, things like old age, retirement and truly settling down become clearer realities. That can be depressing, terrifying, or exhilarating depending on various factors.
