Are you asking these questions to the church body or to the individuals who attend? And are you asking these questions in conjunction to one another (i.e. blessed are the peacemakers...great is the reward for these people...so how do YOU feel about Iraq)? If that's the path you're taking, I'll just leave it alone.
I'm not real sure how to address the first question except to say that we like 'em.

They were Jesus' ethics and the virtues that God values, and, because He spoke them more than once, it was obviously a sermon that He wanted people to remember.
As far as salvation, we like that, too, and it's a part of many of our sermons. Though our pastor tends to preach salvation from a place of God's love for us as opposed to God's wrath.
The war on Iraq, well, I'm sure you'll find a wide range of opinions on that if you ask each individual. We pray for our soldiers and our world leaders...for protection from terrorism...we ask God's mercy and grace to be upon the whole situation...and we trust that He is in control and His will be done.
Beyond that, we don't force politics on anyone. There's never a mention of which particular candidate we should be voting for...there is only the suggestion that we pray for whoever it will be, that God's hand will be upon him as he leads our nation.
This is just my church...others may be (and probably are) different.
Still not sure exactly where these questions might be leading...
