I recall the first change i became attracted to the bible and started praying a lot .

my compassion for people got so much that i started feeling what they do . it manifested later in a Christlikeness form . one thing i learned from this was .. that there's no end of suffering experienced in the human race . and where people are suffering .. God is there . and if you're there with him .. guess what? you're being put to work .

another thing that changed was i couldn't read the bible the same way after a certain point . i started noticing if an interpretation or application transgressed the virtues expressed in the bible .. i couldn't accept the interpretation . mercy became really important . it has become like a life line for me . like breathing .

well enough about me . how about you? what kind of changes have you noticed in your life since being born again .. and what has it taught you?

Hello Brother, I noticed similar things, a hatred toward sin, a yearning to learn more about God through his Word, a concern for others especially for their spiritual condition, peace and removal of fear of judgement in the Day of the Lord, a looking forward to His return, and many other things. :)

My changes are such as: devotion to the Lord Jesus for suffering and dying for my sins; much appreciation of God's "...so great salvation"; seeing the value and enlightenment of God and eternal issues by reading His Word daily; peace and joy in my heart in knowing and walking with my Savior; seeing the future for believers and for this poor Christ-rejecting world; etc., etc.!

I have changed a lot over the years. The first thing I noticed that changed was my personality. I used to be one of those dark people who dressed in a trench coat and you never knew if I has weapons or not. I was always angry and it showed on my face.

The day I came to Jesus my face changed. I had a smile and lightheartedness in me. I was filled with joy. My words also changed. I immediately stopped cussing.

Over time (I was 17 then and now 33) a lot more has changed. I grew up in a culture of racism and that immediately went out of me. I learned a lot through much study in the word, and now I preach and teach the word.

Some of the greatest changes I am going through these days is learning to take pity, be gentle, and submit to authority.

This verse came "alive" for me:

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." ~II Timothy 1:7

...and i don't cuss peoples out no more. (THAT, my friend is a miracle)

Lots of changes have taken place since being born again 34 years ago. I was freed from alcohol, drugs, cigarette smoking, lying, hatred, lots of anger and fear.

I've preached and won some people to the Lord. I've laid hands on the sick and seen them recover. My self-esteem has been restored. My mind has been transformed as I've renewed it to the Word, studying it for myself in order to rightly divide it and applying it to my life. I was healed from what is now called bipolar as well as several other ailments, including bronchitis and other "itises."

God is good.

Dear MichaelCollum. Being born again helps us to change into the sons and daughters, which God wants to live eternally with. Love will become our great weapon, it is there all around us. We ask and we will receive, then we use Love to share all around us, and God will approve and Bless us.
To be born again is to become a new person, love takes over quite naturally.
We will become as God wants us to be: loving freely and NO tags attached, we are all made in God`s image and God is LOVE. To be born again is to belong to God and to live as God wants us to live: Loving God with all our beings, and loving our neighbour AS WE LOVE OURSELVES. This will not come easily at first, but God`s Love will change us into the sons and daughters, which God Loves. I say this with love, Michael. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

i forgive myself (and others) more easily (well it's still a struggle, but i can see God's grace in it all, making it possible to do something i would've never, ever done before)

...i would've never understood this video....or cried from something indescribable that only my soul grasps, for i do not have the words, only the tears....

i would've never understood streams in the desert.....the words in Isaiah 35.

A radically new lifestyle. Before I became a Christian, I was living only for the temporary things of this life, but now I try to focus on what will advance God's kingdom. I'm much more loving to people and I talk to God almost every moment.

when someone says "people can't change" i feel bad for them because I know that statement isn't completely true. God has ended my addiction to lust and more lust, changed the way i treat others. Instead of approaching someone for personal gain, i now come to them hoping to share God's love and shine a light. God's still at work in me and it's exciting. I can't wait to see what other ways i'll b transformed!

im 18 and just recently became a christian. i was catholic all my life but i wasnt a true christian at all. now im 7 days clean from my sexual addicition and i try an tell my friends about jesus and i wanna go on xbox an tell people on Jesus on there aswell and i noticed my thinking has changed a bit form most teenagers! The 7 days clean is something i dont think i could ever do it seemed hopeless but i used that as a good sign of my assurance of salvation :D Also ive put God center of my life trusting Him and reading the bible and praying everyday!
