  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What age would you be?

If you could choose any age to be and stay at for the rest of your life, what age would you be?

I would be 21 because that was when I was the happiest and looked my best (even though back then I didn't think so)

What about you? What age would you choose and why?

Well, I've enjoyed my life in every age. The toughest was probably teens into early 20's.
Physically I'd probably pick late 30's. But I'd not give up what I've learned over the years for anything, so I'll pick my age now over going back to my inabilities of younger years.

5. People took care of me, fed me, I didn't have to go to work or to school and it was play time and nap time all of the time!

I don't remember being 5. I do remember turning 6 but yeah LOL I can relate to why 5 would be a good age hahaha!

They say when your young you can't wait until your older. But when your older you wish you were younger lol.

Me? I am Peter Pan to some degree. But life's realities made me mature before I was even a teen (not that I was fully mature obviously). So I never really understood the concept of wanting to stay young since I didn't have a childhood. Mine was being in hospitals most of my young life with no friends. Its why many of the rare pictures of me I have like 200 stuffed animals in my hospital bed. They were my friends and it let my imagination grow.

Whats interesting is I have always had a hard time getting rid of my stuffed animals. They aren't on my bed now obviously. BUt they sit in a bin in the basement. I wanted to save them if I had children. But a few months ago we opened it and alot of them were ruined. I went to throw the bad ones away and I broke down in tears. It was like throwing away best friends. :(

Until this day I can't throw them away. Just typing this makes me teary. >.< I still keep a few that I really loved in my bed drawer. Such as I had this little Fieval the mouse one from McDonalds I think:

I took him everywhere with me when I was home and able to go out. He slept with me on my pillow and everything. Sadly the Gusgus one I had fell in a pond when I was 12 and broke my heart because I lost it. :( I loved that movie on so many levels. It reminded me of myself. I can't listen to the song "Somewhere out there" anymore because I break into tears just hearing the intro lol. Not to mention it reminds me of me and my fiance being so far apart.

So long story short I wouldn't want to be young again. I was happy then even despite not really being a normal child. But I don't wish to go through it again. I'm happy being 31 and getting married. I'd wish to stay this age forever. :)

Ok well I wasn't really asking for the sake of reliving our lives. We can't do that anyway, and most of us wouldn't want to go back. So aside from difficulties, illnesses and whatnot if God asked you what age would you like to be forever? What would you answer?

I have sometimes thought I wish I could be 40 again. Actually, I was more physically fit when I was 40 than when I was 30 because I had more free time and a more active lifestyle. Circumstances were just starting then that gave me a saner schedule. But I am in a better place spiritually, emotionally and intellectually now than when I was 40, and a lot better than when I was 30. So I guess I am stuck with me as I am now. If I can reach certain financial goals and physical fitness goals in the next year I will be pretty happy.

I read somewhere that everyone has a "home" age. Tough to explain, but it's kind of like if you totally relax, there's an age where you feel most comfortable. For me, it's 14-15.

really? that's a little young for me, just sayin'

Ha Ha, you know what I meant. I MEANT I wouldn't want to BE 14-15 not be WITH someone that age, LOL. But it did make me LOL
Part of my mission in life is to entertain. But I had a great time in high school, so I guess that's why 14-15 is the age I consider "home" when I think about it.

But your frontal lobe which determines if you can realize the consequences of your actions doesn't fully develop in males until 21 not to mention the hormone rages ;)
