  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What about pansexuality?

What about furries? Are they on the pansexual list? :p

Dost thou mock?;)

But, in my opinion, the difference in pansexual vs. bisexual lies in the definition used by the individual. Honestly, it seems many who claim 'bisexuality' fit the ideology of being attracted on a basis of traits rather than 'gender' or 'sex' anyway.

I have never seen a discussion on pansexuality. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, according to Wikipedia a pansexual is:

Pansexuality - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So really, it's person who is attracted to a person no matter their gender. It's not that same as being a bisexual. Someone who is pansexual can also be attracted to transgender people.

Since there's too much focus on homosexuality, I would like to expand the discussion a bit further.

Does one think pansexuality is unnatural and wrong? If so, why?
I think its a wonderful thing to be able to see people for who they are and be able to love them for who they are. I'm not pansexual but I do see this beauty in people regardless of gender, orientation, etc.. I think that if someone is pansexual then all the more power to them.

See, this is why I have a huge problem with labels and categorizing everything. I'm still waiting to be clearly defined on Wiki.

The terms presented on that page do not clearly define me and maybe that should make sense. I largely consider myself hetero (and pretty much always have), but according to that page, I am pretty much a hetero-with-pan-like properties? *shrug*

Labels are natures way of making sure we always have someone else to look down upon and feel superior to.

What's ironic is that those who truly do fall into this category would probably hate (and refrain from) being labeled as such because, clearly, they are beyond labels anyway.

I would view this as bisexuality still. Being a bisexual, I can say that I could easily love a transgendered person, but I don't think that means anything different. A person is either male or female on the outside... and if you are physically attracted to both it wouldn't matter. And if you can love a person romantically, whatever their gender is, what difference would it make if someone was physically male, yet intrinsically female or vice versa?

This whole thing confuses me. It still seems the same. Unless a new third gender is being introduced.. I don't know how it's relative.

That's right, sometimes people have sex just for fun.;)

I don't know. I have to agree with Englands Rose. I had sex tonight and I HATED it! Terribly dirty and foul. Thank God I won't have to even think about it again til tomorrow! :amen:

Pahahaha. >_<
