Actually, it's what the texts seem to indicate. We just have it backwards, like parking on driveways and driving on parkwaysTheBear said:Nice comic relief.

I'm still trying to get a grasp on this one - "I said to within 22 feet of the waters surface----that means the marine critters would be well under water but not being crushed by being 100s of feet under water."
Are you talking about a total of 22 foot depth? Are you talking about 22 feet on top of the existing water level? Was it some kind of magical uniform water cover, where a 22 foot layer of water 'stuck' to everything, including the sides of hills and mountains without being affected by gravity?
Exactly what do you mean?
MQTA said:I thought the FLOOD was the fault of the Elohim who mated with human females?
and the Fall was actually a Rise, we'd have had no knowledge had we not sought it
LittleNipper said:The term is not "Elohim" but NEPHILIM. The rise is the lie Satan tries to promote-----Genesis 3:5
What was 22 feet in depth under the water? A marker? The floor? What? There are rivers much deeper than 22 feet.LittleNipper said:I'm saying 22 feet in depth under the water.
MQTA said:They weren't "Human", they were trash. The Sons of the Elohim, meaning they were Elohim, took the Daughters of Men, the females of the created. Can call 'em what you want but they were of the Elohim.. whatever.. history, ancient history

What was the depth of the global flood? And when you're done creating an answer for that, what was the salinity level of the flood water?
MQTA said:check out 1 Nephi 11:11, they were called Spirits of the Lord, by then
Assuming the flood happened today. Being pre split, this is not a problem, any more than water coming up from down below the earth.TheBear said:....
1 - A flood of such depth, (covering the highest mountain), would result in a massive increase of crushing pressure on all bottom dwelling fish.
Hyper evolution at the time made this no problem. The present remember is very different. Assuming sameness is the problem old agers have. If the sameness was more than an assumption, why, you may have a case. It isn't, you don't.2 - Salinity levels. Freshwater? Saltwater? Brackish? Take your pick. Whichever one you choose, a multitude of fish species just got wiped out.
I am merely seeking clarification of your remarks so I can understand you better. I'm curious why you see this as me being a difficult person.LittleNipper said:You are being a difficult person.
With miracles, anything we can think up, might have happened. However, you've gotten so creative with this one, other YEC's are distancing themselves from your remarks. There's another one here who talks about a 'pre-split' world and other fanciful explanations. Maybe you two should get together and compare notes.Any sea bed (a portion of any size & of your choosing) might have risen to WITHIN 22 feet, of the waters surface, at the height of the FLOOD, as a plateau

Oh, NO! You did NOT just suggest to Nipper to team up with dad in producing drivel... *is scared*TheBear said:I am merely seeking clarification of your remarks so I can understand you better. I'm curious why you see this as me being a difficult person.

The bible is not nowhere. If you have some scientific basis for your claim, let's have it here and now. If not, cut the old age ad hoc stuff!Nathan Poe said:Only problem is that there's no such thing as "hyper evolution." You dad-hoced it out of nowhere.
EVERYBODY, QUICK, HIDE YOUR IRONY METERS!dad said:The bible is not nowhere. If you have some scientific basis for your claim, let's have it here and now. If not, cut the old age ad hoc stuff!
