Hi Storm! Wow, thanks for those hugs!
Actually, we've been having very wonky weather, which I guess is why we're having storms. We got 35 cm of snow on Friday and now they're predicting it's going to be up to 12 and rain this week! Should be a nice mess!
It's nice tho, I can feel the sun's heat more...won't be long til spring!

We were meant to get storms here yesterday and nothing cam of it, I saw DARK cloud move in but just faded away, we could do with rain. Weather here is funny to some places have floods and storms we dry and hot

He Holds the Light

I wonder what the people see
When they look in my eyes-
Am I conveying that I care,
Or am I preoccupied?

I pray that deep within my eyes
The love is shining through
and what they see, is not just me,
But a beautiful part of You.

For the eyes are a window to the soul
And all that shines so bright...
As you reside in me, oh Lord.

"You are the light of the world. A city set
on a hill cannot be hid Nor do men light a
lamp and put it under a bushel, but on
a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they
may see your good works and give glory to your
Father Who is in heaven."
Matthew 5:14-16

If I could give you anything...
I would give you a candle that burns as brightly
as the light within you, the light you are.

I would tell you to keep it burning, no matter what.
I would say don't let the well-intentioned extinguish it.
Don't let the mean-spirited blow it out.
Don't let your light flicker and fade because of everyday
challenges and concerns.

The world is large, and no one can illuminate it alone,
but it is amazing how a single candle burning brightly
can light so many others.

The world needs your light.
Hold your candle high.

Jesus is the Light

Jesus is the light in us. Jesus is God. God is Love.
So that light is the Love of God you can say.
So LET that Light (Love) Shine in our hearts. Don't make it,
LET it. 2 Cor. 5:14 says, the Love of Christ Controls
us. If we let the Love of God shine through then the works
which we so much want to do, will just come
automatically out of a true heart and Love for God.

Let your light shine--whether you're a candle in a corner or
a lighthouse on a hill.

One small act can be the start of a mighty chain of love.
One ray of light can shine far and reach a great distance.
To build a chain of love, one person starts it with a
random act of kindness, by simply letting the light shine.

(Daniel 12:13) Those who are wise shall
shine Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

The Four Candles

The four candles burn slowly.
Their ambiance was so soft you could hear them speak.

The first candle said, "I am Peace, but these days, nobody
wants to keep me lit." Then Peace's flame slowly diminishes
and goes out completely.

The second candle says, "I am Faith, but these days, I am no
longer indispensible." The Faith's flame slowly diminishes
and goes out completely.

Sadly, the third candle says, "I am Love and I haven't the
strength to stay lit any longer." "People put me aside
and don't understand my importance. They even forget to
love those who are nearest to them." And waiting no longer,
Love goes out completely.

Suddenly . . . A child enters the room and sees the three
candles no longer burning. The child begins to cry,
"Why are you not burning? You are supposed to stay lit
until the end."

Then the fourth candle spoke gently to the little boy, "Don't
be afraid, for I am Hope, and while I still burn, we
can re-light the other candles."

With shining eyes the child took the candle of Hope and lit
the other three candles."

Never let the Flame of Hope go out of your life. With Hope,
no matter how bad things look and are, Peace, Faith and
Love can shine brightly in our lives.

Don't let these candles go out in your life! If you can't
see the light at the end of the tunnel, march down there
and turn it on yourself.
