"gnosis" or "gnostic" means "knowledge" in Greek (γνῶσις

The Prefix "a" means "not" or "without".
Thus: a-gnostic = "Not/Without Knowledge"

PS. I'm NOT referring to Gnosticism, but ONLY to the greek work "gnosis" or "gnostic" which just means "knowledge". Gnosticism is a dangerous heresy which denies the most basic principles of Christianity.
