Finally! :swoon: So I guess I can officially say taht we are TTC. I think it is going to make it a bit more stressful, honestly. I just left the nurse a message about scheduling the dye test so we will see where this goes after that. I just want to dance around in circles! :tutu: I know that our odds of having baby aren't very good, but it is nice to be on the same pge! :tutu:

It certainly did take him some time. He has never been crazy about me not taking any form of BC but in both deciding we are ready to try, I can start taking more proactive steps toward conceiving. Only thing is, I don't know what proactive steps to take! :swoon:

Well, first things first, start taking prenatal vitamins, and take whatever steps are appropriate to get yourself into good baby-making shape. :)

Losing a few pounds (assuming you aren't already at your ideal weight) can help spark healthy ovulation. If you have health-related issues that are harder to handle when you're pregnant (like dental work or... I don't know, x-rays), get that done now.

ok - have you read Taking Charge of your Fertility?

Do you temp, check cervical mucus, etc?
I have the book, but I don't have time to read it! :swoon: I have an ovulation thermometer...but it is still in the package! :swoon:

I do have dental work that needs to be done...and funny thing, I just joined Weight Watchers last night!

Y'all are getting me all excited! Makes me forget that my odds of having another little one are a billion to one. :sigh: It is also important to note that we haven't used any kind of prevention methods in the last 13 months and nothing has come of it so I'm not so sure it will now.

LOL - just start taking your temp at the exact same time every morning - we can help you interpret it.

go to fertilityfriend.com - and get a membership (I have the free one). They will also help interpet your temps for you as well.

I was never supposed to be able to have Justin. If I were to ever actually get to the point of having conceived, they told me it would be a tubal pregnancy and I would have to abort the pregnancy or we would both die, anyway. Now that I've had Justin (which was ALL God, mind you), they are saying the same thing again....my ob/gyn says that unless God intervenes a second time, my odds aren't good at all. :)

Great news for you:) I guess it feels like "one down, x amount to go" doesn't it?

I am right there with you in wanting a second child. My boy will be 3 this month. I'm not exactly ttc but not exactly preventing it at this point (I don't use birth control but I don't aim to have sex on my ovulation days either). We were talking about officially ttc after my hubby comes back from the remainder portion of his training (he's in the Air National Guard) this summer.

You all are like us. Not trying to, but not trying not to. It wouldn't do us much good to track ovulation anyway, I don't think. I am so irregular that it is near impossible to keep up with anyway. Congrats on not trying.....but not trying not to!
