I just wanted to start a thread discussing your personal experiences with the spiritual warfare that goes on around us daily. One story I recall hearing was a few days ago, a friend in my youth group told us how he was just saying the Lord's Prayer, and felt a canine-ish thing walking around his house and onto his bed where he was. When he finished the prayer it was gone. I was also told that maybe if you are NOT feeling these threats against us, we may not be on the front line, and we may not be a real threat to the demons and stuff, so they leave us alone. I haven't had any personal experiences with angels or demons that I can think of, but I know that I want to be a threat to them!

So yeah, I would love to hear testimonies of demons or angels that you have felt/heard/seen in your life.

Now I KNOW there have got to be some encounters with angels, demons, or something else like that. If not then I'm sorry to say that no one here must be a threat to Satan!

I recommend the following book to you:

The Handbook For Spiritual Warfare by Dr. Ed Murphy.

If you are not tormented by demons, count yourself blessed. You don't get brownie points and get considered special or a threat to satan if you do.
Trust me, I know first hand.

i noticed that your friend was praying the Lord's prayer i.e. praying to God, and this thing happened at that time. Now i would like to point out that he was praying to God, and not expecting this thing to happen. I would be careful not to fall into an emphasis on defeating satan/warfare againt him/demons etc. as i feel this is an unhealthy leaning. If such things happen while we are praying to God or presenting our requests to him, I wouldn't become alarmed or puffed up in any way. Sure, there is such a power of the air out there, and there are certain scriptures talking about "wrestling with spiritual forces in dark places" etc. I'm sure you know the ones, but our mind should be on God's power and his glory. Maybe you are from a background that receives quite a bit of teaching in the church on spiritual warfare?

Nah, that was just one day's topic that had to do with God's Armor and stuff lol. I just wanted to know if freaky stuff happened to other people too. I don't want to fight demons and stuff per se, but if one happens to get to me, I want to be able to kick it in the face or something at least heh.
