Hmmm... sounds to me like He knew that there will be thoughts that will require some weaponry of Christ

so if u think stupid stuff, things which are offensive to the Holy Spirit, so on, if thoughts come to you that you dont align with Christ
dont dwell on them! Rebuke them in His name and in His authority that He has given you (for example Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.) and disregard it, make it obey Christ....He is the LORD!!!!!

Thanks polishmanmike...This is a good scripture to remember. When you have OCD, your thoughts tend to run away into all sorts of troubling and vain imaginations that you can't control. OCD thoughts that don't align with what we truly believe are to be ignored. They can pass through the mind, but they are meaningless imaginations designed only to make us fear. Our trust relies in Christ and his truth, not in our thoughts. Peace is found when we let go and submit to Jesus.

Thinking of it I think I guess it's human to say I have this & this symptom so what is it & how do I get over it. & we seem to want to believe that other things will cure this when it is ultimately caused by the curse that we live under until we live in Heaven with the Lord.
