  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

...when it comes to fellow Christians.

Adventist sometime treat or make other Christians feel as though they are second class citizens because they are not part of the "remnant". They tend to take pride and put a chip on their shoulder and instead of sharing the light and let others see the full understanding of God and his truth and give them a helping hand with what we have, they show the wrong attitude or spirit to their fellow Christian.

How should we present the truth properly to others?

Happy Sabbath!

I don't believe Adventists hold the copy rights on this one.

I think we need to de-emphasize the idea of being a remnant church and emphasize the idea of carrying a remnant message! So far the Adventist church comes the closest of any denomination out there to fulfilling the commission found in Revelation 14. That doesn't make us a remnant "church" in the political affiliation sense of the word, but it IS the remnant message. So in that sense it's not about being a Seventh-day Adventist at all. It's proclaiming a biblical message. I wish other churches would get on board too.

But so long as we have members who treat our church as an exclusive social club of proper theology, and then carry that attitude to the very people they intend to share truth with, there will be very few who will listen.

This was the best Spirit filled response I've heard in a long time. Praise God!
