WELS do you believe in a "catching away"

No. The WELS officially teaches that a "rapture" as a separated event from the second commig is false teaching and based on a deep misunderstanding of 1 Thessalonians.

Exactly what I stated. They believe the catching away will happen when Christ returns on the last day.

As was stated in the earlier response, the WELS rejects a "catching away" aka Rapture as described in Millennialism.
