how long before this topic is listed on rule 4.2.
Just to elaborate, pretty much everything which consitutes sin in one form or another is on the 4.2 exclusion rule. Which is why it is utterly STUPID that we can't discuss them in here. (and why I usually do anyway)

Sin does not become moral just because people consent to it.

In fact, it's just the opposite--consent is what makes it a sin.

What's the over-under on how long it will take before one of them wants to divorce one or both of the other two? I'll put it at 5 years and take the under....

The destruction of the family is one of the roots of evil. It is now almost gone altogether. Satan makes yet once more advence into the world.

Lord, have mercy upon us.

I didn't say it was moral. That was in response to the thing about marrying cars and farm animals. There's a bit of a leap between animals and consenting adults.
Well certain PETA members say that animals can consent to sex, so it's not far off.

Hey, why stop there? How about we get together groups of 50 people or more and let them sign up for a civil union? How about an entire state? Heck, let's go for the whole country, that way, we could all get equal benefits, and anybody could have sex with anyone they wanted... wait a minute...

Polygamy is almost as old as the earth itself. Lamech was the first man recorded to have two wives. His father was Cain, the 3rd person on the face of the planet so it's nothing new, and not really that disgusting if you think about it. Abraham, Jacob, David, and Solomon all had multiple wives, married legitamately...except for Bathsheba. 1 out of about I think it's about 1012, give or take a few hundred. 1 out of the two wives in this relationship was taken out of adultery, but other than that I don't see anything unbiblical or really gross about it, unless the women were planning on having relations with each other, or if the man is in a leadership position in a church.

Oh come on. Polygamy has been in the Middle East for as long as it's existed! Polygamy has been in Utah for 120 years at least. My family has an extensive history of polygamy (Great+grandfather and grand uncle, my great grandfather, and my biological father were all polygamists. 3 of them were LDS and depended on multiple wives for access to heaven. My biological father was/is a Baptist.) and I haven't read or heard any news or family gossip that someone has married a couch. Why should it be any different in the surrounding world? Humans don't change and are all relatively alike wherever you go. If anything it's homosexuality that's going to allow beastism and inantimate-objectism, not Polygamy.

OFF TOPIC. But that is the CUTEST little baby that you have in your avatar.

In the article it states that the man married two bisexual women. He stated that he felt it would work to his advantage that way. You know, they're all one big happy family in one bed as opposed to the competition type of polygamy which you refer to.

I think there are too many people on all sides of the political spectrum that want to maintain the innocence of childhood as long as possible who will fight tooth and nail to prevent this from happening.

I will guarantee you one thing: when it comes to MY kid, you can damn well bet your life I will fight tooth and nail to prevent it from happening.

Anybody who approaches MY kid with something like this in mind will very, very quickly contract an acute case of ballistically-induced lead poisoning.

And that, my friends, you can take to the bank.
