Welcome to the New Believer's Forum at Christian Forums! (aka For New Christians).

This is your place to discuss issues, and not necessarily doctrine regarding things you have faced or could face in the near future as you begin your walk with Christ. We, the moderator staff, are here to help you and will try our best to give you the best input and advice.

You must believe these things to post in this forum:

1. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was raised from the dead, and that he came to pay for your sins, so that when the Judgement comes, you don't have to pay them yourself - and thus you will forever be with God in eternity rather than hell.

2. That God is the Father in Heaven, the Son Jesus Christ, as well as the Holy Spirit within us after we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Issues that can be discussed are:
Rules for Holy Living
Worship
Prayer
Bible Study
and other simple, basic, fundamental topics necessary to begin growing as a new Christian.

Advanced topics like Spiritual Gifts, and heavy-bible study theology (basically any topic that requires more than a single verse or two to explain) will be moved to The Workshop if a topic isn't already opened there on it.

Cults, Churches, Doctrines, and such will be discussed in Interfaith Discussions, and issues regarding specific, non-essential (non salvation-related topics) issues and topics will be discussed in The Workshop.

Otherwise, feel free to post your issues and the things you are facing in your new walk with Jesus. Simply put, post anything on your heart, and if it doesn't belong here, we'll be happy to explain where you can go to get your question answered! :)

Our job as moderators for this forum are to simply be alert and point you in the right direction. We won't necessarily give the answers, but our goal is to help mature you enough so you can begin to look for the answers yourself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit as He has promised every believer to help "lead into all truth and understanding." Ultimately it is not us but God that brings light to the scriptures we read, and ultimately it is His wisdom (his word) that he writes on our hearts that tells us what to do in every situation.

Be blessed and we hope your time here will richly bless and enrich your faith.

in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
<><
