I guess I will start!

My boys include:
Pedro, 7 year old QH gelding, shows western.
Domingo, 4 year old Lipizzaner Stud, dressage (in training)
My girls are:
Prairie, 3 year old QH mare, (husbands trail horse)
and Diva, 2 year old Andalusian cross (does nothing right now but eat)

I live in the Pacific Northwest! Go to foudation QH shows, or jumping and dressage shows about once a month. Dressage clinics monthly too.

Yay! An equestrian club! What a great idea. lol at what you said about Diva, all she does is eat. That's what they do best I think! Okay, to introduce my boys:

Juan: 16 year old sorrel Quarter Horse
Domino: 2 (soon to be 3) year old black and white overo Paint
Teddy Bear: He is not with me anymore, but he is still in my heart now and always. He was a bay QH. He would have been 21 this month.

I just ride for pleasure, I don't show or anything like that. I love trail riding. I live in MO, and keep my horses at my friends house. Oh, something I think is cool about Juan is that he is related to War Admiral and Man O' War. Man O' War has always been my favorite since I was little, and I was so excited when I found out my boy is related to him!

I'll introduce my mares :)

Kelly, a QH pony, 9 years old. She's my first horse, and has joint problems that severely limit her working abilities.

Lacey, an Appy, 5 years old. She's my primary horse right now. I ride trails with her, and am planning to take dressage lessons on her.

Sierra, a bs Pinto, 5 years also. She's currently just being started under saddle, and is slowly but surely making progress. Supersensitive, it takes a special and understanding soul to give this horse a chance. She's slowly warming up to me. I plan to use her for barrels and poles.

I just finished up 1 year of college, and plan to spend the summer trail riding, attending shows, and training. I live for these horses!:D

Hey, we have enough for an equestrian team! Think we could get to the Olympics this year?

ImHis - Juan sounds cool. Me and my husband trail ride quite a bit, about every weekend.
Born2run - I have a sensitive mare I'm training too. She is exhausting because she worries so much. She should be a fine jumper though. She is Andalusian/Percheron.
Horse Luver - Are you taking lessons on the Appy? What kind of riding are you doing?
LunarSparkle - I have a dream of going to Ireland for a horseback vacation. Do you know of any travel agents that specialize in horseback vacations?

Pedro, Domingo, and I just came back from a show this weekend. Pedro and I won our AA Hunter class, but we crashed a fence in Int. Hunter. eeeks! went 4th there.
Then Domingo won his Sporthorse In-Hand class. YAYY!

Let us know all of your horse activities from week to week you guys!
And God bless you all, and your horses too!

Congrats Ridesawhitehorse!!! That's great U won! Oooh, sorry about the jump though. Your horse OK?
Yeah, I ride the Appaloosa a lot. He's just fun to ride...really relaxing, yet fun and energetic at the same time (that prob. did make sense!!). The other day he was feeling so good when I cantered down the trail he was swishing his tail like he was going to buck (I was kinda wishing he would! lol)!!

Ridesawhitehorse - Not sure of any specialist agents, but if you search for 'equestrian holidays in ireland' you get some good results, also could recommend a couple of places depending whereabouts you want to go.

Anyway, Moonshine and I are off to Belfast tomorrow (2hours away) for our monthly lesson with my trainer that comes over from England, so will update on how we get on tomorrow!

Thanks Horse Luver - LunarSparkle

Pedro is fine. We didn't get hurt - but we made short work of that oxer, hehe..
Enjoy your lesson Lunar... let me know how you did. I have a dressage clinic this weekend too.

HorseLuver - your horse sounds pretty laid back but fun like Pedro. Nothing better then a good horse that you know will take care of you.
God bless you Ladies!

ridesawhitehorse: Congratulations! Sounds like you did awesome!

Can't wait to see how you did Lunar Sparkle! I would love to visit Ireland someday. It is such a gorgeous conutry. BTW, your horse is gorgeous!

Horse Luver: what is the Appy's name? lol I can always tell when Juan is going to let out a playful buck. He doesn't do it very often, just when he is really feeling full of himself!

Ok this sounds fun...I currently have four horses...3 girls one boy!

Pet-blind Appy cross QH mare, registred as CH Shesa Pet, 13 years old, grey/roan and a wonderful trail horse!
Confetti-MY HORSIE LOL-13 year old Arabian mare, not registered, kinda dorky, fleabitten grey, quite pretty when she wants to be, is a fun ride!
Jubilee-Mom's baby-Yearling PMU paint filly, tricolored-blue roan, brown, black, and white...really cool lol...
Smoke-13 year old ???? probably a Warmblood, awesome awesome horse, unregistered that we know of but does have a brand. Extremely well trained in western pleasure and eventing, knows his stuff. A challenging ride which has led us to trade him for another horse from the same resuce where we got him.

And yes we are trading Smokey for a gorgeous Morgan gelding, Chester. Chester is 12 years old, not saddle broke that we know of, about 14.2 hands tall, excellent conformation, liver chestnut with a gorgeous neck and head...drop dead gorgeous with a great unbeatable temperament at that!

I have two websites for my horses...PM me if you want them!
Hope you enjoy!
