Tags are ways to group threads. Every Member here can give each thread two tags. For instance, I put in "What's New". Later, I'll find another thread that deals with the new changes here, and I'll tag that one "What's New", as well. Or you can. Or anybody.

Then, a quick way to find threads about new things here will be to click on a "What's New" tag--it'll list all the threads that've been tagged "What's New".

I would suggest, "Howard", that the quality of a board depends more on the quality of its Membership, and less on the amount of fluff available.
