it took me awhile to find it too,I just don't know how to make it bigger. do you want help finding it???
i'm trying to add all my buddies again,it's time consuming but can help you if you want.

I don't know how to get an avatar in the first place. I'm so lost.

You have to use the crop tool.

I personally find it difficult and annoying to try and read posts when people load them up with glittery graphics, photos, taglines, huge avatars, and the like. It looks more like the stuff kids do on Myspace than a forum for((ahem)) grownups? I know some people live for this stuff but hopefully there can be a way to block all that in the future for those of us who just want to see the written part of the posts without one sentence taking up our entire screen

You can block all the images, avatars and signatures and just see the basic posts by going to Edit Options.

I'm very upset. I don't seem to be able to make my avatar work! I've been trying for hours now. As you can see, I can't enlarge my avatar and background.

I think you need to select a background that is large in order to have the ability to utilize the whole space. Check out all the backgrounds before picking one.

If you make them bigger, they get all pixelated.

The only thing that I'd enlarge would be a backdrop.

The only thing you have to do to make your CFC bigger is go edit it.... it makes it bigger automatically when you click save

The backgrounds are a bit pixelated... but not the CFC so much

I think you may have your crop on a completely white part of your avatar... trying moving it around over top of your avatar

Please forgive me if these are repeat questions... I've been reading this thread through from the beginning and am up to about page 8 so far... But here are my questions so far:

1) Private drafts ... still around? where?
2) Auction ... there's a link in characters that indicates t=714, but that links dead. Is the auction just one of the things not yet restored?
