Hi everyone! 
Who am I:
I would like to introduce myself, I am Philosopher Yahweh. I am 33 years old, very happily married, and I like kitties. I'm a teacher, I teach teenagers Philosophy, sometimes I also teach science.
I am the classically defined "Skeptic" and "Materialist" (in Philosophical context). COOL!

What am I like:
I'm a nice guy, easy going, I have a good sense of humor. I'm also fairly pessimistic... oh well.
I'm also a smart guy, I've packed a lot of knowledge inside my head in the last 30+ years. I am a Philosopher (not just what I call myself, its my occupation), I know everything from Materialism to Solipsism, abstractionism to Humes, Free Will to Dualism, Determinism to Ethics.
I love animals, my wife, my sister-in-laws, job... a whole mess of other stuff.
Religious Beliefs:
Atheist.
For the record, I am not, nor have I ever been Jewish. I was born and raised Southern Baptist.
Yeah, I fully recognize this is a Christian forum, why should that bar me from being a part of this forum?
What's up with the name "Philosopher Yahweh":
From the Old Testament, I loved the name Yahweh. I've been using the name Yahweh for several years now.
I've familiarized myself with the Old Testament, New Testament, and I'm currently working with the Book of Mormon.
On the other board I post on, I use the name Yahweh, but it was already taken, so I decided to go with Philosopher Yahweh.
How did I find this site:
Another member, Gentle Panther gave me the URL. I know her from another messageboard I post on (Randi.org boards), I thought I'd take a look at this one. If I have to say anything about Gentle Panther (or Ruby), she's the nicest sweetest person I've ever known.
