FORM FORM FORM....someone already said it, if you have the proper form you lift less weight at first, but it pays off. Dont go to hard, I just did my arms and chest for months when I first started and have bad stretch marks on my arms, not attractive to big to fast, but I have big arms now (not worth it IMO), dont neglect the legs there is nothing funnier then a dude who is big on top with little chicken legs.

*job looks at WP's chicken legs and laughs* :p:p:p

seriously though, he right to many people neglect the legs and they are a very important part of the body.

I also suggest that you do not use the tread mill for running unless you are training for some event. running hurts your joints and bones... it is just as good to walk fast and get your heart rate to a cardio level.

In addtion, the eleptical is also a good machine that works the entire lower body and gives you a good cardio workout... they also dont hurt your joints either.

Just go to this site. No one else in the world can compete with Stuart McRobert for accurate, legitimate, steroid free training information. No one.

Amen to that! This is THE BEST advice for anyone interested in proper weight training.

I would also HIGHLY recommend the book, "The Insider's Tell-All Handbook On Weight Training Technique." This book shows you the proper form on all of the exercises you will ever need to know.

Ok guys, I need a book that will give me a routine to follow. I looked at the Brawn books, but their ratings are bad, saying the books are poorly written and outdated.
That's a bunch of baloney!
I have been studying weight training techniques for several years and the books by Stuart McRobert as well as Hardgainer magazine are the most realistic training techniques out there.
The techniques in Brawn have been used for years and still work great. The human body has not changed and abbreviated, full-body workouts with the big movements are still the best way to go.

Where did you read those reviews? The reviews at Amazon.com are very high.
