In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you're just worried about "weight" you can poop out a couple pounds by upping your fiber intake.

Personally, I've dropped 5 in a week like that, a buddy of mine did more than that when he had to make his weight for OCS.

When I want to lose weight (I only ever lose small amounts - for the sake of vanity, I have to admit), this is how I do it: the average young adult female needs 2000 calories per day, so I reduce my daily intake to somewhere around 1500 a day. Works like a charm. Then again, I don't eat much anyway and am stupidly stubborn with everything, diets included, so I might find it easier than most.

Don't worry readers - it's safe. I'm careful to consume the necessary nutrients and I'm not foolish enough to diet until I look like a starving stick insect. Besides, methinks it's impossible to be underweight when you have a Jewish mother...
