Learning about the Passover does shine a light on our faith. You have the meal in remembrance of honoring God; from preparation to sanctification to redemption. Each step in the process represents who, what, when , where as an reminder of him to them and reverse; how he kept his word by sending those of him, them trusting it was him by his word listened; they endured suffering and in need of him came humbly for mercy, so he did forgiving previous transgressions by them; so he answered their prayers and came by word to them, by him and those of him the promise was kept of his word.

Ultimately it was the mercy of forgiveness that freed them and not themselves; compare them to the Egyptians who didn't have his word and even when they were given it hadn't honored him. Soon as they needed his mercy they asked for on their behalf by others to have forgiveness; once they did, many times each, it was quickly forgotten and returned to their old way against him. But it was worse as they knew the truth and wouldn't accept it, the word of God and his will for his people. Only by hardening the heart could he continually be denied. That's why we must not forget, having faith in him always or else we'll return as we were for the worse.

Thanks for this study guide, a lifetime of wisdom to be learned by the word of God!
