CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If I were to have bridesmaids, I'd let them wear whatever they wanted, I'd just ask to see their dresses to make sure they weren't anything hideous or immodest

My maid of honor (no bridesmaids) wore a black dress with sparkly silver rose patterns on it. I didn't really care what color she wore, but wanted something that was cute and not too formal/fancy (since my dress was understated) and we both loved that dress on her. I initially didn't love the idea of a black dress for her, but noticed when dress shopping for myself that it is really difficult (at least in this area) to find a nice dress that wasn't black. When we went shopping for her, I had warmed up to the idea of a black dress and her's looked great on her.

I love the idea of the attendants in "little black dresses" as long as they're tasteful.

My favourite part of the wedding planning was picking out invitations, picking out the dress, and shopping with my MOH.
My favourite part of the wedding was when a friend of my family brought us communion to take.
My least favourite parts of the day was when we were leaving he told me his brother and dad were like, "Run while you can!" and when he couldn't figured out why I teared up when I was walking down the aisle. I told him it was because it was the first time he saw me in my wedding dress and he said, 'Yeah, I was surprised it was as long as it was.'
I didn't throw a bouquet or anything, but when I gave my bouquet to the MOH to exchange the rings I forget to get it back from her and she had to lug it back down the aisle with her.

I forgot my bouquet when I was coming down the aisle! My changing room was downstairs and my dad came to get me and he was talking to me and I forgot to get them as we were walking upstairs! and no one else remembered either. I realized it in the middle of the ceremony! But, most everyone I told didn't even notice that until I said something! My husband told me I was so beautiful that I was the only flower everyone was looking at. I made sure I had them after we walked out for all the photos!
