CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The boys always look so adorable in their little suits. We gave our ring bearers t-shirts to change into after the ceremony that said "Ring Security" on them. They looked so cute in those too.

Josh loves being all fancy and dapper, and he'd wear a tux if I let him, but I think for the sake of cost and simplicity, I'll just put him in a nice vest and tie. We'll see, I'm not totally immovable on the issue

Went wedding-stuff shopping today with Don 
SO fun and romantic! Got my blingie headband at Claire's, along with blingie earrings that Don picked out, and a blingie bracelet that he also picked. Found some wedding invitation paper (got doves on it, awww), a picture frame for guests to sign, little heart-shaped note paper that people can write wishes on, a wooden treasure-chest-type box for the rings (and paint so Josh can decorate it). And even though I've said I don't want a bouquet, Don spotted one and got all misty-eyed, so I thought "OK... anything for Don" lol. Picked out a beautiful bunch of white roses with pink on the edges, on clearance for $3, and figured I'll tie a satin ribbon around the stems. And just for fun, we walked past some lingerie in Walmart, and saw some pretty darn cute things, and our reactions were SO funny.
I've always been a very decisive shopper, but with this wedding stuff, I keep changing my mind every other day lol.
And may I say that Don is the most wonderful, romantic, incredible man alive He loves shopping with me, even going into Claire's with all its girlish sparkliness, and he loves giving me input and telling me what he likes <3 And instead of just being all "Sure babe, whatever you want" he gets all dewy-eyed and sentimental and makes me blush and smile like a fool in the middle of Walmart lol.

GREAT NEWS! Don's close friends (he calls them his spiritual "Mom and Dad") have agreed to fly in from Texas for the wedding, AND his "Dad" is a pastor and has agreed to do the ceremony! I know this means SO much to Don, and I'm so happy for him! Just another miraculous miracle... thank you so much, Lord <3

I just happened to remember a site that I found years and years ago, when I was looking for medieval-ish dresses to wear to a Ren Faire; they were beautiful, simple, and cheap! Found the site again (holyclothing.com) and I am in a fresh tizzie over dress ideas! Yes, I still have my original dress, just in case lol.

Don't buy from Holyclothing.
First of all it's sweat shop labor and second the item I bought from them ripped the first time I wore it, and it was not even too small. Also their sizing is weird and unless you have extremely broad shoulders and your bust hangs more than a foot below your neck it will NOT fit right. And all the stuff is rayon.
