Each woman in our family over the age of 18 is going to bake one batch of cupcakes to bring, so it will sort of symbolize the blending of our families.
CUPCAKES FTW!
I remember this idea from the Singles wedding thread.
I want to go to a wedding with a cookies n' milk bar!! It sounds so cool, remember to post pictures of your's
Why do I assume that I need to pay for everything? I KNOW my mom would be delighted to make some cupcakesI think it would make her feel like she contributed something really special. Thanks for another great idea, Sara!
Two venues I'm considering. Both are right in my town, and both have very reasonable rates. The first one is beautiful, historic, and has gardens we could use (weather-permitting, of course). The second one has some beautiful, spacious rooms.

Nienna - where'd you get your dress?
Sara - Mom has politely declined to make my cupcakes lol. She says she'll be nervous enough. Back to looking for a bakery

I got it at Pearson's Renaissance Shoppe but apparently it's actually cheaper at ArmStreet who is the actual manufacturer. It's called the Chess Queen dress, it can be made completely custom. It also adjusts with lacing on the sides, which is good because my waist is never the same size two days in a row due to food intolerances (unfortunately of extremely common food that is impossible to actually avoid entirely.) There's also a surcoat that is made to go over the dress if one would like.
