:preach: ARE YOU WEARING YOUR WEDDING RINGS? -

'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be
united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they
are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined
together, let man not separate." Matthew 19:5-6

I still wear my wedding rings as a promise to my family that I will
not give up on us being a family.

I still wear my wedding rings because I believe in my husband/wife.
He/she is a good man/women and he/she loves his children so much that he/she would do anything for them that is within his power to do.

I still wear my wedding rings because I know that my husband/wife and
I don't have any problems that are too great for God to heal.

I still wear my wedding rings because I made a vow that I intend to
keep, "for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in
sickness and in health, until death do us part".

I still wear my wedding rings because some years ago we had something
that made us want to spend the rest of our lives together and I
believe that something is still there underneath all the worldly
things that Satan has thrown at us.

I still wear my wedding rings because I want our children to get
married, with us sitting as a couple and no step-parents involved.

I still wear my wedding rings because I want to be an example to our
children and grandchildren that marriage is a lifetime commitment.

I still wear my wedding rings because I want to have our
grandchildren come to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see both of us!

I still wear my wedding rings because families belong together.

I still wear my wedding rings because I still love my husband/wife and it
is my promise to him/her that I will never give up on him/her, just like the father of the prodigal son never gave up on his son. He was
watching for him on the day he returned and he ran to meet him and
had a great feast in his honor. He also put a ring on his finger
and I still have a ring to place back on my prodigal's finger the
day God brings him home to his family.

Something to share.......Testimony

Are you wearing your wedding rings? We have many people ask what
they should do about their wedding rings. Janet had written out her
thoughts to help remember why she personally was wearing her wedding
rings. Her words touched my heart, as twenty years ago when Bob and
I were divorced, I could never take off my wedding rings.

The Lord had spoken to my heart the night before my divorce in a
Wednesday evening service where our Pastor preached on "Loving
Others With Unconditional Love." That was the night that the Holy
Spirit spoke to my heart so loudly that I immediately went to my
Pastor and said, "I should not divorce Bob by all that you have just
said and showed us in the Bible." My Pastor said to me that I had
extenuating circumstances of adultery in my marriage, and that I
needed to divorce Bob to protect myself and our children.

Thank You Lord, that You speak to Your children more than once to
get Your message to us loud and clear.

I obeyed the Lord the next time He spoke to me in a Sunday evening
service. I then started praying for the healing of my husband's
heart and restoration of our marriage even though we were divorced.

I pray that I have taught and spoken to enough people in the last
twenty years to stress that when the Holy Spirit speaks to your
heart, you do not need to confirm it by asking anyone else. Instead,
you need to listen and obey the Lord. If you have any other
questions, ask the Lord your questions. He is the only One with the
right answers.

Think about it. Noah would have never built the ark if he had asked
neighbors. It had never rained before. Moses would have never gone
to Pharoah to set the Israelites free from their captivity. How
many men and women around the world would have never have gone into
ministry? The prodigal son would never have repented and come home.
Saul would never have become a Paul; would never have preached about
his encounter with Jesus on the Damascus Road winning thousands to
the knowledge and salvation of Jesus Christ.

Have you taken off your wedding rings? Ask your Lord what you
should do. God does speak to His children. I never took off my
wedding rings, as I always felt married to Bob regardless of what
the court papers said. I found out later that my Lord had me wear
my wedding rings to declare to many around me about my faithfulness
to my covenant marriage and to the wedding vows made to my husband
and to my Lord God. I had married for life, so I shall wear my
wedding rings for life.

Marriage is life time Promises and divorce does not exist at all in this Life........ so My dear Children don't go for divorces how harsh wife/hubby can be.. Suffer and sacrifice urself by being Humble in front of The Lord and the Blessing will be great in Abudance.
God Bless u'll.
Amen

I had struggled with this untill yesterday at church , The Lord shared with me thru the minister that our rings do not make us married it shows others we are married. I still want to be married so Im going to wear my rings untill we divorce ( if that happens) This how I will show my faith that I believe God can heal my marriage and bring my husband back to HIM.
we have been separated for 2 months
