While being quiet before Jesus, I received this word and song for the ministry of healing to His wounded soldiers, to those, who even though are battle-weary, have pressed on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!
Take Me to the Holes!
This is My invitation, saith Jesus:
Take Me to the Holes!
Take Me to the holes
In your heart
Take Me to the holes
In your heart
Let Me bind your wounds
Let Me heal your pain
Let Me ease your strain
For I will send the rain
Yes, I will send the rain!
O please
Let Me bind your wounds
Let Me heal your pain
Let Me ease your strain
For I will send the rain
Take Me to the holes
In your heart
Take Me to the holes
In your heart
Do you know?
That My love
Is not for show.
As I have carried your sorrow.
I have borne your griefs.
Do you know?
That My love
Is not for show.
As I have carried your sorrow.
I have borne your griefs.
O My love is not for show.
My love for you is truer than true!
My love for you is truer than true!
So take Me to the holes
In your heart
And let Me make your soul renewed!
Take Me to the holes
In your heart
And let Me make your soul renewed!
Isaiah 40:27-31 Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD; my cause is disregarded by my God"? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 53:3-5 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus said..."Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
