Hello,

Im taking a web design course at home.. ITs fun.. I just made a web site for my sisters home business...

Web design is a whole lot of fun. I started it a little over two years ago, and am totally addicted.

I like web-design - but have little graphics ability - the programming in DHTML, CSS, JavaScript & PHP is more fun! It is addictive though, isn't it!

i learnt both, all self taught over 5 years (from when photoshop 3 was out... lol)
was great fun, but i lost interest when my hdd died and i lost all of my work.. (and i couldnt back up as i didnt have a burner..) ohwell.. i am starting to get back into it lately doing afew pages for people.

I like webdesign, but I have never been very good at art, so I enjoy programming more now. I however am going to take some digital art classes in hopes of getting beter at it

I love web design, I love it done really well. I love Christians who use their intelligence to provide thought provoking work online. I'm tired of bad looking Christian work, averageness and poor attempts passed off as "good". But hey... I did that once too!

I run a site for Christian web designers (look in my profile if you want a link), and man... there are some awesome designers out there who make me feel really really... inadequate. So I keep trying to be better! I want to be one of the best. Anyone else want to be just awesome?

haha i know how you feel mate! when i did my IT course everyone kept asking me how to do graphic stuff (as it was part of the course) so i just said blow this, and got up infront of the class and told them how to do it.. lol so i became a teacher for a while..

a really good book if you want to get some ideas about graphic design. and I fell in love with grid based design after reading this book: "Making and Breaking the Grid" - Samara.

it's by Rockport (www.rockpub.com) if you are interested in designing get some of their books, they have some EXCELLENT stuff to read that can really push you to get better.

I got into it by reading "Idiots guide to HTMl about 3 years ago and now have 4 sites up....I also work with photoshop 7.0 ,photoshop cs and getting better everyday!

Yes, I started web design a couple of years ago and have made many sites ... I do the basic web design and graphics, but no database work (PHP, CGI, etc.)...

I have done websites for many companies and businesses over the past seven years. I am finally free. I quit working on sites in January. I only use the computer for my personal enjoyment and spreading the name of JESUS!
