Tell me, please, How does one stand on a weak conscience to the point of death for what he holds dear?
The trail to the KJV is blood.
The trail to the RSV, NIV, NKJV and others is money.

If to death, a weak conscience takes me

This story fell right in line with the points that I made in this thread.
The TNIV is gender neutral, I'm guessing that means that God is not refered to as Father or He but as parent or guardian.

its so true . it does make it look like we are all nuts and wierdos. just what satan wants of course.
but i have noticed that fundalmentalists are becoming the bad guys in tv shows and such. not all fundalmentalists are wierd, im one and i use the kjv. and i dont go around doing wierd stuff, unless telling people about Jesus is wierd. and i dont do it in 'a hit their head with the bible 'way either...
alot of fundy churchs have changed their stance on the fundalmentals of the bible, dress , etc,( now a days. ) and have watered down things to make more people come and be 'comfortable'.
sometimes 'truth' isnt comfortable. whats comfortable about hell?
i believe if the gospels preached w/ love , people will respond to Christ - or not.
but anyway, thats the way i think- and im a wierdo ....

satan defenetly wants to rid the world of the kjv! the other pervertions leave out alot of christs divinity and the blood.
but since they are soooo eazy reading , people will get those. i wish people would do a background check on their versions first. the kjv is Gods word. satan tried to change what God said from the beginning in the garden.
the trail to it is blood. many many saints have died for the kjv. i wouldnt die for the ones out now.

The world does think it's wierd that we tell people about Jesus.

Jesus told us that they will hate us because they hated Him. We are also promised in Paul's letter to Timothy that we will suffer persecution if we are living for Jesus Christ.

To the world, we are freaks! Praise God!!

I am KJVO because I see the gradula mutation of modern versions to fit modern acceptance of sin. The NIV had at least two homosexuals on their translation comittee.

That has no bearing on its treatment of homosexuality. The language that the NIV uses to describe homosexuality is anything but tolerant.

Really. I was raised on the NIV and believe that Christ is God's Divine Son, God made flesh, one of the Trinity. His shed blood purified me from all sin. Am I missing something?
