This is a vision about the day of His coming. The great and terrible Day of the L-RD as represented in Joel. Zepheniah, Obediah etc., et. al.Eze 43:1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
Eze 43:2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
He cannot enter the East Gate and then His house if it is not yet built.Eze 43:3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
Eze 43:4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
Eze 43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
Soooooooo................ this is an earthly Temple?kofh2u said:Rev. 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Rev. 21:22 And I SAW NO TEMPLE therein: for the (theistic, transcendent), Lord God Almighty, (Shin), and (the Immanent God within us), the Lamb (within the mind of men) are the temple of it.
Rev. 21:23 And the "city," had no need of the (astrological) sun (signs), neither (the influence) of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God, (the Urim and Thummim of the pattern of His Temple) did lighten it, and the Lamb, (the chief cornerstone of the geometry) is the light thereof.
Rev. 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Rev. 21:25 And the gates of it, (the software-like schemata) shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there, (inside the Collective Mind of men).
Rev. 21:26 And they, (all mankind), shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

The temple of Jerusalem is for the anti-christ to use to fulfill prophecy.
Wasn't that prophecy made while the first temple still stood? If we know the circumstances from that destruction, perhaps we will better understand it for a future event. Another words, looking at revelation as both this event here and the future event on Judea/Jerusalem.visionary said:The mind of men is the temple of God.... YES.....

Hi Talmidim..... maybe we should put together a step by step process.. showing the importance of the man made temple just before His return in prophecy. There seems to be some confusion between the temple that Yeshua builds and the temple that man builds.talmidim said:Hey vis,
... and for the returning KING to enter, also to fulfill prophecy. The point I was making was about building the physical Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 31:38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
31:39
And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
31:40
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
This city has the river running doen the middle of itPsalm 46:4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
It is in the land of Judah. Remember the city of God does come down from heaven.Isaiah 26:1 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.
The day will come when all that man makes is gone and God's city will come down for us to dwell in.Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hai
Now you come to the verse that shows the abomination that will happen in this man made temple...Zechariah 6:14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD. 15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
How else can it be... The Lord comes2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
should He also not come to the Temple that man made to face the one who exalted himself above all and claim He is God.after2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Clarification - the temple described in Revelation is the one that Yeshua builds. It will come down with the city of God.

Hi Visionary...This certainly makes sense to me...
Your comment certainly seems to be the most logical understanding of Isaiah 66:5,6.....

Labor will last as long as it is going to--nothing will make it shorter. I'm not sure that helping with the Temple will be a decision for us to make, or that we will even be around to be a part of.
Helping and praying for Israel is something we have been instructed to do, and we can do that now.
I wholeheartidly agree.
"Hastening the coming" somehow implies that man has some sort of control over the preset plan and will of God. He will come when He has planned to come, despite any activity man creates to make it come quicker. There is a reason why groups such as the Temple Mount Faithful have failed up until now to start the rebuilding. They have all of the items ready, but have yet to start contruction. Why? Because it isn't time yet.
It seems so bold and boastful, in the face of God to think that man can puff himself up so much as to think that he influences He who is, was and is to come.
He then pointed His sword toward my heart, then my mouth, then my hands. When He did this fire came from His sword and burned me with a great pain. "This too is grace," He said. "You are but one of
many who have been prepared for this hour. Preach and write about all that you have seen here. What I have said to you say to My brethren. Go and call My captains to the last battle. Go and defend the poor and the oppressed, the widows and the
orphans. This is the commission of My captains, and it is where you will find them. My children are worth more to Me than the
stars in the heavens. Feed My lambs. Watch over My little ones. Give the word of God to them that they may live. Go to the
battle. Go and do not retreat. Go quickly for I will come quickly. Obey Me and hasten the day of My coming."

"And Judah answered Joseph, saying, Surely thou must know that I was security for the lad to his father, saying, If I brought him not unto him I should bear his blame forever. Therefore have I approached thee from amongst all my brethren, for I saw that thou wast unwilling to suffer him to go from thee; now therefore may I find grace in thy sight that thou shalt send him to go with us, and behold I will remain as a substitute for him, to serve thee in whatever thou desirest, for wheresoever thou shalt send me I will go to serve thee with great energy."
