We are in the world, but not of the world. Messiah did not pray that we would be removed from the world, but that God would protect us from all evil.

Your not of this world, but your still living in this world. Same as Messiah. He was not of this world, but he lived in it to reach the lost.

How can you reach/touch the needy if you remove yourself from their presence? How would that be following God's Spirit, when he caused you to remain in this world as a witness?

That statement is worthy of ridicule because people sit when they come together in groups sometimes. Just because a pagan did something doesn't mean it is a pagan practice, it could just be a person practice.

As a cat owner, I have to scold my son for leaving the tp on the roller. It's his cat, so I don't know why he has such a hard time remembering. We've tried putting it on the roller backwards, but the stupid pet still can unroll the whole thing before we get there. It just slows him down some. Rolled over the top your "correct" way simply lets him do it in faster.

It's less fun for the cat, and more mess for us. So sorry, but your rule is wrong!
