We need new mods!

The moderating teams really need new people so if you think you have time to offer - 5 hours a week is the minimum - then please think about applying.

The team that oversees this area, the Congregational Area, is the Congregational Team.

It doesn't matter if you have no idea what moderating involves or how to find your way around the forum, we'll train you.

The requirements for applying are that you should have at least 200 posts in the last 3 months, with a number of substantial posts.

I'm retired and now have the time. I'm ready to join the moderating teams. What do I need to do to join the team?

because as Christians we ought to moderate ourselves , mutually submitting and correcting one another in humility , reason is far better than a "stick" ..... as a last resort there is always the ignore button .

Unfortunately, that doesn't happen anywhere on the board. I'm sure you've seen the conditions of certain forums, like Soteriology, and to a lesser extent, GT. There is no submitting there, or correcting others in humility. And rarely is the ignore button used. So, while your example is good in theory (and in the Bible), CF does not exemplify that admonition.

btw, we have staff specially allocated to training - even a training manager. You get good basic training and the rest you're taught by the team as you go along.

I think you'll enjoy modding - I always did (just not ready to come back yet)
