We need new mods!

The moderating teams really need new people so if you think you have time to offer - 5 hours a week is the minimum - then please think about applying.

The team that oversees this area, the Congregational Area, is the Ecumenical Team.

It doesn't matter if you have no idea what moderating involves or how to find your way around the forum, we'll train you.

The requirements for applying are that you should have at least 200 posts in the last 3 months, with a number of substantial posts.

i dont have 200 posts...im a little quiet..but very observant and i do have experience..i went ahead and filled out app and i totally understand if i dont get it.

I could do it, I"ve been here long enough and it'll give me some motivation and something to clog my mind with. I don't think i have over 200 posts in the last 2 months, tho. I do have experiance modding other forums and I know what to expect other than keeping the peace.

There is a moderator application forum. There might also be a button somewhere. Nevertheless, the moderator application forum is on the main index, near the top. When you go there it should take you to a form you fill out.

Great to see you all stepping up. I can tell you that this is a wonderful and rewarding ministry.
However, when there are few folks moving up, the Mods who have been serving you and CF can get exhausted and burn out after a prolonged period.
I had to get away all together after a time. I am back now, not as Mod but just to relax and fellowship. I may step back up in anothers season but for now, we need you all.

For anyone interested. I would really love it if there was a fellowship thread for retired Mods where we could spend time with our old friends and current Mods. I miss the fellowship we had when I was on staff.
