We Need a New RP

I guess my Paper, Rock, and Scissors RPG is just a bit too unfamiliar. I'll have to change it later and use only one character instead of three.

Both the historical RP and the Stream RP sound interested. At this point, though, I just want to start something. We have plenty of good ideas, why don't we just choose one and go with it?

I'm gonna vote for the Curators RPG. I'd like that. A lot. But if no one else likes it, I'll just balance off with Ninjitsu's old one.

I went in search of some old RPGs of mine and found one that had been quite successful. I thought it over, and I'd like to restart it if people are interested. So, do all of the characters have to be human, or could their be exceptions?

Also, I like playing the villain as well as the hero. So if there's any need for a villain, I'd be happy to help.

Well, I'd love to join Adherent Fates, but my other two classes start Tuesday, and I just got an evening swallowing role in a play, so I'll probably only have time for two threads. Curators is my top choice if we get it started, just because I've been craving a story like that for months. And I really already have two character clamoring out of the laptop for it. But if we don't have time/interest, I definitely understand.

Adherent Fates is more up my aalley.

I'd even play Solaru if another writer of equal skill and wavelength played Lodekai. I love competition. But few fit that bill, so I'm playing Ren.

Cella is playing Lodekai, MD But I am in search of a Solaru...I want him to be played by an experienced RPGer and writer since he's so important, but if no one takes him I suppose I'll be doing so myself. It just can't be AF without him.

GrayAngel, the characters are only human (aside from Lodekai and Solaru and the like), but you can be good or bad or neutral. We have two characters for the "bad" side currently, and eventually two of mine will shimmy over >_> So it's not as though there's any particular need for a certain type of character.

I'm sorry to hear that, dramaking. I don't believe I've ever written with you though I've seen you around a lot. But it's understandable. Real life comes first.

Yeah, not many fit the bill for Solaru. ight could, if I helped until he got a boit of experience. drama could. Shadow could, although I'm not sure his divinities fit my taste (sorry, Shad ) WoF quotes Scripture all over. Those are the current top dogs. I really liked Firefall's Solaru...

Well, if Solaru quotes scripture a lot, I'd fit the bill very well. I don't exactly have the whole Bible memorized, but it's a strong interest of mine.

I have a lot of experience as well. I've been RPing for about a decade, long before I even came to CF. I don't often brag about my talents, but creativity is one of my strongsuits.

But if someone could grant me a link to the RP (not the OOC), I would like to read over it to get a better feel over the characters and the world they live in. The link from the OOC page doesn't work anymore, probably because it's old.

Solaru DOESN'T quuote Scripture, Gray. I tend to point out what I see as ammong a candidate's weakest points. But only if all I have is a list of maybe if's.

This is a link to Super Heroes, my most successful RPG here in these forums. The story started off very open, with few plans of where we would go. But as we went, the plot became more and more complex. I'm very proud of how this story turned out.

If I were to go back and rewrite these, I've noticed some repetitive use of certain words in my posts. I've improved much since then, but this still remains to be my favorite story.

This is something a bit more modern. Because characters would often go off on their own, it forced us to write longer posts at a time. I still notice some errors that I failed to detect before posting, but you know what they say about first drafts: they suck.
I try to read through my previews more thoroughly nowadays, except for when I'm in a hurry to get done.
