We lost Chips!

I started my 2007 inventory and found that we lost Chips (#288, was owned by fishstix).

I last looked at him on 18 Dec. Is it possible he got put up for adoption and lost on kill night? I was going to check on New Year's Eve, but I got locked away from my computer.

1229 is the twin monkey that was owned by Jonnyboy I think was his owner. The monkey was named jack. I fed him for 2 months or more before he was put up for adoption in Dec. Chips was the cat sorta milk choc. color. I think 1229 has changed hands about 3 times since he was put up for adoption in late Dec.

No, the Chips we lost was #228. When you look him up, he's listed as being in day care. When you check there, he isn't there. He was a fully grown, brown kitty.

when you check out he is to be in daycare....have you noticed many a times the pet does not show in petcare....may be there is a max numbr that can be viewed????

Hmmm...but I checked the adoption center on New Year's Eve right before the deadline and there were no pets up for adoption?????? (as reported in Team Faith's work thread).

I'm not sure how this could have happened given this fact?????

I suppose it is possible that he starved to death. However, I think those usually disappear completely and don't show up as in day care forever.

I am sure no one was up for adoption at the end of the month
My question is.....
Is there a limit to the number of pets that can be in day care?
If there is no limit then how is it that we see only a limited number of pets at any given time?

He did not starve to death. He was perfect 100% happy the last time I saw him. When you click on him now he is still happy and full but in cyberspace. We have several of these floating around or did when I come down here in Oct. Except for the two monkeys and.

The next to the last time I looked two pets were for adoption. A sss and Chips.
Close to an hour later I looked and they both were gone and I know that for a fact. I know time zones are across the board here and I don't know what time zone they are deleted but they were both there at the sametime and both gone at the same times I checked.

when a pet does not show up in adoption/day care center but seems to be happy and well fed if you click on the pet link then that pet didn't survive kill night though that doesn't mean it was last kill night...all the pets deleted on kill night since the start of it still can be viewed.....

the pet didn't starve for sure

i have been rescuing oct, nov and dec kill nights...so must have been before that
