We get nothing...

Prayers do nothing... I am supposed to be Christian... well I was in time... but God, if there is any, forgot about me... I got nothing in my life... I see people having fun and being in love with each other but every prayer I made to be happy, to have a nice girlfriend never worked... I prayed for other people too, it never saved them from anything anyway...

If there is any God, why are we supposed to suffer? Life is already that hard, praying and believing something that doesn't exist or doesn't help us won't help more... God forgot about me, as he probably forgot everyone... No prayer worked... How can we believe? We get nothing...

Is it what we call loosing faith? Probably...

You have breath, you can acess a computer, you have probably eaten recently, you can string together several sentences, you are loved.

I do know it often seems like God gives us only ashes. But I have seen prayer answered. Maybe not what I wanted most, but I have seen answers. I cannot give you answers, but have you really been looking for them? If you are like me, probably not. I often dwell in my despair. I often take only the dark view of things. I do not see my many blessings. God is not easy. Holding on to God is like riding a rough sea in a small life raft. His ways are mysterious and not even the wisest among us has ever understood them. I do not hold answers, but I know what it is like to be at the end of your rope. To be honest I am not far from there myself right now. Only with grace am I not deep in despair.

I pray God will show you He is real and that you can regain your faith. I pray you will be lead out of the dark pit. I pray you will be lifted up. I pray that you also will be a light to others. I pray my words do help you.

Thanks... I always told God that when he would send me a sign, i will regain faith in him... it's not was he's doing right now... Everything seems to be darker and darker... I'm lost and if he want to catch me up, he'll have to send me something... Prayers are probably not enough to save me...

Praying for you. God bless you and make himself known to you - may you be surrounded by his presence and hold you in his arms. The darkest hour is jsut before dawn...believe for your breakthrough - it is just round the corner. The Lord will not let you down.

This is exactly what Satan enjoys hearing. He is the father of all lies. Please, please look at what God has given you. You may not have all things another has but you stillhave HIM if you;ll let him be Lord of your life.

Paul was locked in a prison and still praised God daily and held his word in his heart. Faith is loving God even when it is hard to understand why he "allowed" such things. Just look at Job. His wife told him to Curse God and die...but he didn't and he was ultimately blessed abundantly.

Would you stop loving your dad if he didn't give you what you asked for? I wouldn't. The point is that God will give you what you ask for...maybe not now but in time if you just go with His timing.

You may try finding a Christian counselor to help you through these feelings. It could be depression and you may need medication.

Hang in there, God still loves you, even if you aren't loving him at the moment.

Do you remember WHY you became a Christain? Was it for YOU or was it for HIM?

When I have felt like this in the pastit has helped me to try to help someone less fortunate than myself. It really puts our wants and needs in perspective.

He may have the perfect Christain mate picked out for you but doesn't want to introduce you until you are on track. When you reach the point of needing ONLY God, then things take on a new light.

The sign you seek is the one you refuse to see. Look around in the world and I garauntee you will see darkness. You are supposed to be the light in the world. I have been at the edge myself. Many times. I cannot give you a sign, I do know that without a truly open heart you will never see one. Jesus performed many miracles. Yet the people of Israel refused to believe. Read your bible with an open heart. Again I pray for you.
