Thanks for the update on bunny! glad your other kitties have taken to her. Suppose it was fate. You walking up the road at precisely the right time. God does work mysteriously, for sure! Bunny probally would not have been able to survive at only five weeks and being in the shape she was in. Makes ya wonder where the rest of the litter are. Gonna go walkin again, Smurf......Glad you've opened your heart and your home to the new addition to your family!

It's sooo bad! My husband and I are BOTH such bleeding hearts. We'll rescue anything.... we rescued a snake a while ago that had been run over! God just gave us a heart for His creatures, and I believe we need to take care of them just as well as ourselves!

We've taken in two dogs, and a whole family of dogs once! We live out sorta out in the country, so there really is no limit on the animals we can have!

I'm so happy that there are people like ya'll out there to take in animals. I'm not able to do that. I pray the Lord blesses ya'll in a special way . I myself have two linx cats, mercybaby and my momma's cat miracle. Oh, and a doggie named kelia who thinks she's cat

One way we can know if people are saved is in how they treat animals. A good man takes good care of his animals and they are strong and healthy.

Those who destroy the earth, abuse animals or that are not loving toward people need to get themselves right with God.

You know... it's kind of funny.... People really tick me off, but I just can't stand to see animals in harm's way. I guess I am DEFINITELY an animal lover....

I don't like it when people are mean to animals.

Then again, if an animal attacks me, I am NOT afraid to hurt it.

The enviromentalists that protect animals at the expense of human lives are very ... odd?

Smurfy, how is bunny doing now? So the vet said this condition affects her spine? Will she lose the ability to walk someday? I LOVE cats. Have three of my own, all rescued. Hope she is doing well.

Whata great story! I love animals, and I'm so glad that there are people like you and your husband who will care for the abandoned ones. I would be that way, too, but I still live with my parents, and we're renting a house that doesn't allow animals. When I have my own place someday, watch out! There will probably be more animals than people living in it!

UPDATED!!!!

BUNNY IS A MANX KITTEN!!!! She has what is known as "Manx syndrome" and will walk that way forever. She was not abused, other than starved nearly to death, and is in great health. She is a very loving kitten, and to watch her hop around just melts ya!

I hopefully will have pics posted up this weekend!
