Such utter racism. Isn't that what they say about the US?

I guess my point is that they are probably right in that they cannot absorb the migrant population and neither can the US in great numbers.

But the media will will always hammer away with accusations of racism.

True. But it seems it is very easy to condemn the USA for such statements while bishops in other countries seem to be able to say these things with little if any condemnation.

It seems to have descended into a pathological hatred toward the US from some both without and within. Even more so toward the president.

I think the Vatican must understand that open borders would lead to anarchy and a collapse of order. maybe some want this?

There are a lot of globalists out there. I think the USA is seen as the biggest stumbling block to that agenda.

I agree. Of course I am for immigration and helping the poor. Immigration needs to be an orderly process. But there is no discussing this in the current climate.

Look what the globalist are doing in France. the media has all but blocked out any coverage of a populist uprising against a draconian tax burden. They the government are intent of crushing them and the same will happen here.

That's my fear. Along with our Pope seeming to be the biggest cheerleader. Lord knows a one world government would be a disaster.

Pope Francis is definitely a globalist and a politician. Just remember his stand against president Trump in 2016 and his "naive" support for abortionist Hillary in the runnings.
I dont trust this man anymore as I've seen nothing in his six year long pontificate that gives me any reasons to believe that he's anything but a socialist or even marxist politician.
Openboarders and pantheism is the only things he's pushing and rarely if ever the gospel and the great commission.

Just imagine what a tremendous counter voice the church could've been if we had a wise and courageous pope. We could if we took the mission of the church seriously be a huge obstacle to the rise of Antichrist and the one world government and one world order.

Sweet Mary pray for us and Jesus Christ Son of God save us. Amen.

If I am correct, the Catholic Church gets about a billion dollars from the US Govt. to help normalize immigrants. I'm sure this has some influence on the open boarders issue.

Would be nice to see where that billion actually goes.

There was a good priest back home that actually said openly that Francis may be a Mason - we need more guys like that.

Pope JPii elected so many bad eggs as cardinals that it kind of ruins his legacy in my eyes. The entire Francis-situation would never have happened if JPii hadn't elected Bergoglio a cardinal in the first place. Same goes for crd. Kasper, Marx and the other progressives.

Yes - very mixed feelings on JP2. The whole Assisi thing was more than a common mistake - it was a calculated and planned. And kissing the Koran???

Saint JP2 - I don't know. Is the post Vatican 2 Church actually qualified to declare Saints? By simple evaluation of performance I don't know.

    A big and valid question...
How about John XXIII for example?
