CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Aw..yeah..I'm sure it hurts pretty bad now, but you might be surprised how much better off you are in the long run. I know this has already been said but it's worth repeating--God has a lot of good things in store for your life.

Sorry to hear that and the same thing happened to me less than a month ago. We were together for more than two years and we said the same thing, let's see if we can find a way back after we get some distance to it all.
A little advice, don't get your hopes up. That may sound a little harsh but if you get your hopes up, it will be harder to heal the wounds and if it doesn't work out in the future, it will feel even worse when you have had your hopes up.
Anyways, I'm praying for you two!

Based on what you said in the other thread, I think you have made a wise decision here. At the stage of your life that you're in, it's important to let God reveal his purpose to you and guide you through the years of your adolescence for your benefit, and personal relationships are a big part of one's life that God has control of. So take it easy and seek His will, and He will show you what will be best for you

I'm not going to say "it'll be better in the end" since saying something like that when you just broke up seems pretty mean. I'm sure it's all to make you feel better, but those words right now just hurt more than anything. Just keep your chin up and keep looking God.

Well, I'm very proud of you! After reading your previous thread i can see that it was hard for both of you to come to that conclusion!!! Breaking-up has never been an easy thing to do and breaking-up with someone you care for... OBVIOUSLY WORSE!!!
So, your decision was very wise and mature FOR YOUR AGE (okay, okay, i just had to mention the age thing, because everyone does... ) But honestly, it was wise and mature!!

I guess I was too slow to respond to your other thread.......sorry to hear you guys broke up...........I guess if thats what you felt was best, then it was meant to be that way. It's in God's will and not our own.......so just live your life....like the others said, keep school and God and your future success #1 right now, but mostly God........he will bring someone VERY special into your life when the time is right.

I was not gonna say anything, but she posted a message like 2 days after the breakup in the teen forum saying that they are back together.
