We are pregnant! HELP!!

My hubby and I recently experienced the death of his sister due to an aggressive form of Renal Cell Carsinoma. (She was only 35 years young and between diagnosis and death was only 4 months.)

Anyway, the day after her death we found out we were pregnant. Many of course have quoted the Lord gives and takes away, which seemed fitting. It was definate good news in the midst of bad. That was in the middle of December.

We are "guess-ti-mating" about 8 weeks now. For the past two I have been horribly sick. Just in this last week I have been hospitalized 3 times. Once last weekend, mid week and then again this weekened.

I am currently on the Reglan Pump which distributes nausea medication through out the day. That alone is not working at all. So, we are going to be trying the pump and Zofran pills.

Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. HG is my diagnosis and it's a really BAD form of morning sickness basically.

I had the perfect pregnancy with my daughter (no morning sickness what-so-ever) and then with my son I was sick for 6 months of my pregnancy and hospitalized 4 times. It's only 8 weeks and I have been in the hospital 3 times so far.

*sigh* -- and I have tried most remedy's except accupuncture LOL ...

I don't think I have ever begged God for grace and mercy this much before LOL ...

Yes, sonogram only showed one ... but I suppose at 8 weeks that still could be too early to tell? lol oh my ...

I'd second asking them if they can check for multiples. You can tell as early as 6-8 weeks. (Cervical ultrasound)

Bad morning sickness is so hard, but remember it will pass eventually. i had really bad morning sickness for 6 mos with all of my pregnancies and it was horrible in the midst of it. Lifting you up in prayer. Sorry you are going through this.

We are now 9 weeks and the sonogram only had shown one. I go back in 2 weeks for another sonogram so I am sure we could tell by then for sure... I did ask my doctor at this point what she thought if it would be a possibility and she said she doesn't believe so. While in the ER they sent me off for both sonograms. Was not pleasant...
The pump is being helpful but not doing the whole job. I also have to take zofran 2 times a day as well. I find myself not being able to do a whole lot either.
One more month to go! Then hopefully I will have some relief!

Delivered a very healthy stout 8lb 12oz boy we have named Gabriel Benjamin. I delivered by C-Section and tubes are tied. 3 C-sections and 2 total hip replacements in 15 years is enough for me! LOL
