Hi guys 
I'm Steve and have been on this site for about a year or so now. I have just noticed this forum and want to offer you all comfort. I used to have OCD really severely for the best part of 9 or so years growing up (washing my hands). It totally ruined my life as a teenager and had such a hold on me that I was barely able to function.
At 18 I found Christ and slowly through months and months of prayer, I finally handed everything over to Him and gave Him my problem. It was then that He lifted OCD from my life bit by bit. I have been totally free from this now for 10 years or so and just wanted to encourage you that God is faithful to help you endure and overcome anything of this world
If any of you want me to send you my testimony, then please just PM me. It's not for my own glory, but for the Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ who saved me.
