Sometimes i feel surrounded by armies of personal anxiety and fear, as well as political turmoil and strife in this world. I look around at this fallen world, and at myself and i don't quite know what to do. I look up to heaven instead of the things around me, and i find strength. Faith in the Lord is all that makes sense anymore.




Luke 21:25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”


1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This where you and I differ a little I say. I see that everyday the word is true - in its entirety - but it is living Him that is what matters.

Ask the living word to take you there brother, He will be delighted to bring prophecy into fulfilment, Revelation 19:10.

You your self say that you have days of darkness. Its a part of life on earth. So where is this place that has no sun or moon? It must be in heaven im guessing.

Yes I also experience darkness, every day again, however much darkness is found in The Word to have life in, including the pit itself.

However we can also experience Heaven, where we serve God before His throne in the Great Assembly. In faith we transcend time and can already live the truth of God, to live the truth of God is the living word within us - our guarantee that God's Word is true and faithful. Revelation 4

It is about entering His Rest, we do that in part (though experience Him in fullness,) as Jesus chooses. Where first is last and last is first. A dire warning to wilful sinner and an awesome promise to lost sinner.

Hebrews 4:1-13
Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,


“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’

And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works. And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”


Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.


For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.


For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

I look at it quite simply. Im tired and dont care anymore. Im dead to fear and anxiety. I find rest in the hope that Christ promises us. Whatever will be will be.

Yes you are right on we can only find rest in Him, though I know it is not about giving up, nor giving in, but rather getting into His rest that matters. 1 Corinthians 9:24

I was thinking about how i need the Lord to cleanse me from wrong judgments. Sometimes i see this scripture (1 John 1:9) and i only think about the Lords forgiveness, but today im thinking about his leading as well. I need the Lords help in making daily judgments, i need his mind to guide me every hour of every day. Surely without him i can do nothing.


1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

be pleasing in your sight,

I was just thinking about how blessed i am. Society looks down on people like me. They live in a fantasy world where things like popularity and success actually matter.

I may be weak, fragile, and so needy, but this is my blessing. When im unpopular then i seek Gods attention, when im weak i seek his strength, when im a failure i seek Gods promises that are found in heaven.

I am truly blessed, but when the world looks at me, they only see an outcast. Im blessed, and it makes me very happy.

My life has been hard but that's ok because its the wide and easy road that leads to destruction. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Be encouraged and strengthened, look toward heaven not earth, and look toward Christ for strength. Faith is not always about miracles, but it is about finding strength.


This is faith. Its not always what we think it is, but once we see it for what it truly is, then we will see that God is for us, not against us. This is where we find strength and joy

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
