The Lord said that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, he is there with them. We are gathered here together and so we can trust that He is with each one of us. Its hard to live with negative thoughts and feelings as we do, and it often leaves us feeling separated from God, but im convinced that God is merciful and kind, and we can hope in Him just as much as anyone else can. If we all hope together, pray for each other, and love each other then im convinced that God will be with us as well. We may not always feel like GOd is with us but i know that he is and that he wont turn his back on us, because he is merciful and kind, and all we must do is hope in him together. Im not promising miracles or anything, im only promising that God will be with us and love us, regardless of whatever we feel.

The greatest torment for me is to feel separated from God and i wont let the enemy destroy me with his lies, i will hope in the Lord instead, HIs mercy will not fail me if i just hope in him. Let the depression, anxiety and the darkness come, it wont matter because God is still there, even if i dont feel him. That to me is faith. I will tell that darkness that it may steal my joy but it cant steal my hope in the Lord. God is faithful, he will not allow my hope in him to be unfruitful. One day i will go to heaven and the darkness will not be able to enter. I feel a need to be here and to encourage us all, i know how difficult it is to live this way. I honestly believe with all my heart, that together we can stand in hope, regardless of feelings and thoughts to the contrary. We do not need to compare ourselves to others either, all we must do is hope in the Lord together.


Lamentations 3:19 I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
20 I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

People often talk about calling on God in time of trouble. When im in trouble i call on God simply by waiting. I close my eyes, i rest, and wait.


Psalm 27:
14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.


John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Im not strong, not anything. I have found however that the Lord is my strength and my purpose. When i look around and wonder what went wrong, and what to do, and where to go...I find strength and purpose in the Lord. There is nothing else for me that gives me hope and direction. I follow.

This is my purpose. To overcome depression and so many other battles of the mind. I may not be able to make this battlefield disappear, but i can follow the Lord through it. Let others get healed if that their path, i'll follow the Lord on the path he has given me. This is hope and faith. A battle is not without setbacks and struggle, but i am not without a commanding officer either. Im not alone and i have a wonderful purpose. Praise the Lord amen.

Without the Lord i would fall to pieces. He is the glue that holds me together. Its just simple faith and hope that binds this weak man together. Not faith that moves mountains, but faith that follows, perseveres and overcomes.

I will not look into that mirror that reflects myself, but instead look into the light of Christ shining from above.

Who am i? I am nothing, nothing but a wretched soul.

Thank God for Christ. In times that we are lost, lets just thank God for Christ. What else can we do? Allow ourselves to be trapped by worry, anxiety or fear? It will not help. I have been there far too long. These things have killed me and now i look to Christ alone because there is nothing left to look at but him, and so whatever will be will be, and i cannot change anything. Therefore i will hope in Gods merciful life giving promise, and will not fear, or worry or fret over these things anymore.

Why has God forsaken Me? I have asked that question so many times. Yet my hope is now in Christ who also asked the same question. God raised him, and im raised with him. God has not forsaken us but instead has shown us that we must die before being reborn. When we die to that hope that we put in our self, then we are reborn.

Mathew 27:45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b

The voice of truth. The voice of hope which speaks to this man, who doesnt have faith that moves mountains, who has nothing but faith that God has given me something better. He has given me faith to look at things in heaven, to see the things i dont see. Anyone can have faith in things they see with natural eyes, but spiritual eyes see something else. I dont need to see mountains move, or my problems miraculously dissapear, because i have something much better.
