Like I said, you're free to follow this line of thinking which allows our interpretations to be in a constant state of flux, I'm not. I'm very content in my belief because God provides absolutely no avenue or guidance for us to follow that would have our interpretation of Scripture or our beliefs to be in a constant state of change.
No escape required, I love history more than most people and find that it is many times our best teacher.

BTW, I have no problem what-so-ever with being narrow-minded when it comes to Scripture.

Remember this: when they mocked Jesus for saying He was who they said He was - the Son of God - He did not defend Himself. He had no need to, He knew He was speaking the truth and the truth needs no defense. It is what it is, the truth.

Thanks for your reminder. I need to make sure that I am not speaking merely because I feel slighted, offended, and defensive when my views come under attack. Just a short visit. I've lost the desire to participate in these arguments, especially when I see that nothing has changed in the last two years. I think about coming back to talk often, but wonder what the point would be when we are all like concrete in our stances. I've been spending more of my time at a site called Godbit.com. It is about helping Churches utilize technology to advance the Gospel message. I find that that is where God wants me right now. Drop by sometime
