I'm not sure when there was the last Way Back When thread, but I think it's a good thing to have on a regular basis - just to escape if only for a minute, when everyday living is crushing in. Why post in this forum? I believe reflecting upon experience leads us into deeper fellowship with Jesus and within the Christian community, applying the brakes in order to experience a slingshot to propel us into the next 5 seconds, five minutes or five hours.
Way back when I was at university, I had a great Final Year - the end goal was in sight, I had great accommodation where I watched out of my kitchen window fox cubs playing, ducks bathing in the brook, with my fabulous university 30 mins walk in one direction and a fabulous church 45 mins walk in the other direction. This environment lifted my spirit and I wish for a minute I was back there again.
