  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yah, I'd say don't look at them. Besides, it will make you feel better to lose so much weight quickly after birth. I just had a c-section and came home 5 pounds heavier than when I went into the hospital (even minus an 8 1/2 pound baby and all of the goo). About a week after I gave birth I started having to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes. I lost 12 pounds in one day from water weight. I've actually lost 29 pounds since I came home a week and a half ago (185 down to 156).

Not that you should try to gain water weight, but there is a bright side if you look hard enough. :)

Watermelon is great for getting rid of excess water weight, and in season! :)

Kelp (in capsules) is also very good~ 1 or 2 capsules a day should be plenty. I used Kelp and didn't swell at all~ everyone was amazed that I could still wear my rings all the way through my pregnancy.

And like the others said, drink LOTS of water, and walk. Salting to Taste is fine, just don't over do it. And use Sea Salt, not iodized table salt.

Maybe this is a dumb question but how does Watermelon help? I've been eating a whole watermelon myself nearly every week (my fav fruit) and my rings are starting to get too tight... I don't see much swelling in my feet or anything but definitely in my hands. Oh and I also drink about 96oz of water a day!!
