WATER OR COKE ???

WATER:-

#1. 75% of people are chronically dehydrated.

#2. In 37% of people, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it
is mistaken for hunger.

#3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as
much as 3%.

#4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs
for almost 100% of dieters

#5. Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

#6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a
day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of
sufferers.

#7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term
memory, trouble with basic maths, and difficulty focusing on the
computer screen or on a printed page.

#8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of
colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by
79%., and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should drink every day?

COKE:-

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries 4 Litres of Coke
in the boot to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be
gone in two days.

#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet
bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The
acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper
with a rumpled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of
Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubbleaway the corrosion.

#6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola
to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

#7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the
baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes
before ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix
with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

#8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into the
load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle.
The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean
road haze from your windscreen..

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

#1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It will
dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches
calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase of
osteoporosis.

#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial
trucks must use a 'hazardous material' card reserved for highly
corrosive materials.

#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean the
engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a glass of water?
or Coke?

I am going to have a glass of water!

Coke was originally a medicine with concaine in it. It has evoelved to what it is today. Very powerful caffience filled drink. To add to cliffs list it's a great coin cleaner. The older man who got baptised at church today has an addiction with coca cola. He finds it harder to give up them cigarettes. You can get a very fat big stumuch from drinking beer, he has a coca cola gut. It shows the effect of caffiene. Please pray for this mans addiction. His name is Terry.

Water is the way. So is cordial or Gatorade!!!

I used to drink Coke and other caffeinated beverages but don't anymore. I didn't notice the effects of caffeine when I drank it often, but now if I have even a little bit, it makes me jittery and gives me withdrawal headaches afterward. It's not worth it.

How many do you do????It's like weet-bix. Can you actually do the 6 to 8 glasses. I can't, even as cordial. I ca't drink strait water, because it's disgusting in my opinion. I can't wait to drink from Gods pure water, from the river of life in New Jerusalem. Perfect water!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in the country on a well and our water is FULL of calcium deposits (so bad it makes it really hard to clean our toilets). Anyway, I drank A LOT of water when I was working full-time, but I dropped off drastically when I quit working.

We recently bought a Brita water filter and I am really enjoying drinking water again. The filters are expensive though.

I won't lie, I do enjoy the occasional Coke, but I know I shouldn't drink it at all.

We live in town, and our water is horrid. It has tons of chlorine in it. It smells like a swimming pool, and I can't drink it straight from the tap. We buy purified water to drink, and we also have a filtering pitcher that I use for cooking water.

 I live in a country where water hardly exists!!! That's a little exageration, but Australian water is very low..

The first part is right, it hardly exists. I am not sure if it is really an exageration at all.

The dam that supplies our valley is now less tha 5% and falling.

The dams that supply Brisbane are less than 25% so if it does not rain soon we will be in very big trouble.

Chlorine is the same word for the 'pale' horse. The color of death. Yikes.

The problem with bottled water is that the industry is not regulated. So you could very well be paying more for the water straight from tap.

The loose carbon filters like Brita do a lousy job. If you can, buy those solid block carbon filters.

Assuming there is ample, good tasting, pure water, what is the correct amount the body should be getting? Six glasses, 8 glasses, 1 additional for every 10 pounds overweight, 1 less for every 10 pounds underweight?

Does anyone know?

~Witness

It all depends on how active you are.

Normally 64 ounces a day is sufficient. However, if you jog or exercise you might want to increase your water consumption by 12-16 ounces above the recommended amount.
