A call to all Watchmen and Watchwomen across the globe.

The Day of the Lord is drawing near. The world full or debauchery and corruption. Moral values are at and all time low, God cannot be found in our society. Paganism and Luciferianism are embraced by celebrities and the political elite. Our society is dependent on political rulers, many have been domesticated.

The world is crumbling under the weight of immense orchestrated debt. Wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, plague, famine and slavery are pervade our lives.

God, Jesus and the prophets spoke of these times.

It is our duty as Christians to spread the Gospel of Christ and warn others of the chaos at hand. I know I have not been living up to my duty.

Ezekiel 33 comes to mind.
33:2 "When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him a watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn he people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head.
33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.


I encourage everyone to spread the Word more and more. Time is short.

As a Christian blessed with faith, I believe we are all watchmen to some degree. It is our duty to spread the gospel in our own unique way and to represent the love of Christ through our words and actions. I know I fall short but what I'm getting at is that we all have some duty to warn believers and nonbelievers alike.

I don't see it as a physical watchmen as you might imply(I may be mistaken) but as a spiritual one. Not a "watchmen" appointed by men, but one appointed by God by being blessed with faith and knowing him intimately.

Of course the verse refers to a physical "watchmen on a wall looking for signs of invasion/war" but I believe God is conveying a spiritual "watchmen" as when he refers to Ezekiel.

Matt 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. (15) Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. (16) In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven

Matt 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Amen brethren! Not all are Watchmen approved, but that's the role that has been appointed as not all are awake at the Midnight Hour. There will be a Rude Awakening when the First Trumpet Blows and the 10 slumbering Virgins will awaken while the careless ones find themselves without the necessary fuel for their spiritual lamps to see their way into the Wedding Ceremony.

BTW, welcome and thanks for the encouraging thread! There doesn't seem to be many people aware of the present time and it's understandable and so we can't hold it against them for they know not what they do. I believe that the Latter Rain is pouring down and many people are sensing this urgency to make such a call to attention, it reminds me of the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", which was another satanic device to brainwash society about the Last-day events, the movie desensitizes the mind, causing such events to become fantasy to them so that when the time does arrive they will mock and reject the call. Unfortunately we will expect this.

I agree! I was spiritually asleep, until my father who is also a born-again Christian let me know the times we are living in. Now I'm awake and alert. I have been alerting some believers and nonbelievers, but admittedly I've been slacking on that a bit. I need to step it up.

My brothers and sisters keep witnessing, watching, praying and most importantly be ready!

This was just written now for you to read. He will indeed appoint His watchmen and His mouth pieces. He who wants vigilance and not insolence. Be prepared. Even as I too must rest in littleness so I may know His greatness.

if we have to warn for another 2000yrs so be it...many lukewarm Christians need to be reminded that God will spit the passive, lukewarm Christian out of His kingdom, He would rather you be cold, or hot. Keep your lamps filled, always be waiting for the Lords return.

Things were so much worse in the 10th -- 15th centuries. We may have an Iran "over there" but Europe had Islamic armies coming from 3 directions, and plagues, and 'the little ice age.'

The need to declare the Gospel is because God's grace through Christ is amazing, and the resurrection proves that Christ's accomplishment was good for our justification, not because of the nearness of the end. Everyone, individually, is within 70 years of 'the end,' anyway.

Pains get worse, and this planet is full of pain, there are more wars, famines, and wild weather than ever recorded in history in just the past 4yrs, that has made scientist and world leaders come together and say 'what is going on'.

They sure haven't cooperated in setting emission standards, nor backed any 'green' technology. And when was it one last seen or heard a preacher announce war on global warming? I didn't make this any thing. Just spoke my opinion which seems to be correct regarding the conservatives versus the non-conservatives who defined global warming and have worked to come up with solutions when the GOP types have been totally against it, and many do not accept that there is a 'global warming'.

And yes, I do believe that people cause much of the problems and challenges that are among us today. You can believe in curses if you wish, I do not.
Just like heaven? Where did that idea come from...you? I didn't say that, now did I?

There are more wars? I think it depends on what you define as a war. Most of the things happening over the last 4 years have been civil insurrections etc. If you had been living in the 17th century you would have had the Black Death, the 30 Years War that devastated much of Europe, war against the Turks, the ECW that killed a not insignificant part of the UK population off. More British soldiers died in a day on the Somme than in all the wars of the last 20 years that the West has fought

We had this topic in Church recently re the role of Christians in terms of ecology and enviromentalism (in terms of things like trying to reduce pollution and assist those in the 3rd world threatened by famine etc) - with the point being made that if you see things from a certain pov perhaps then we shouldn't bother (not that that was an opinion with which our church agreed) since the earth is cursed

Agreed - millenialism just ends up moving its time frame constantly when as you say we are all within 70ish years of the end anyway

But one day is like thousand years for the Lord and on the seventh day He rested. It's now 5777 years since creation or 6000, don't know. So 6 * 1000 years and then 1000 years of peace.
