Wasted years

Loaded question; I can definitely say "Yes" and "No". While there have been many instances where I've missed the oppertunity, there's been many where I've done His will. I think the main thing is to pray for guidance & keep moving forward.

You have not wasted your life, the Lord was with you. You did good things for others without knowing it. Jesus loves you deeply and will help guide your steps.

I once saw a license plate that read "REGRET".
It is something that can easily consume us but it doesn't need to. As sinners, we are prone to fail at following Christ, and to live for His honor. Even our 'righteousnesses' are as filthy rags in the sight of God. But there is consolation in this because "He knows our frame, that we are but dust." He understands the obstacles that keep us from perfect obedience, whether by our sin or by His Providence. And He has provided the means to enable such evil creatures as ourselves to not only "will, but even to do according to His purpose in Christ Jesus." Even according as Paul said "I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me." Therefore, if we have the heart, it is because of the strength of Christ. If we have the opportunity, then God has opened the door.

for ABBA YHVH (FATHER CREATOR SOVEREIGN) and
for JESUS (Shepherd of us sheep, who hear His Voice) (thus HE answers) ....

I think everyone has that feeling. There is a 30, 60 and 100 fold return. The 100 sounds awesome but I imagine few Christians hit the highest mark all the time or maybe not ever. I can recall times when I simply could not cut it, and even moved locations before. I always confess my sin and try to get back on the horse. It is water under the bridge anyway. As long as you have breath, God can use you. Get out of any possible condemnation and keep seeking. The prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Pray, listen and do what you can. Remember you are a member of the body, an important part, no matter what. Jesus has your back, he is truly your friend.

I only saw a couple of your posts.
Still, I hope and expect you are living somewhere.
As Yahweh (God) Permits, DO HIS WORD TODAY.
That was Jesus Instruction to all His followers every day.

This is one thing I think needs to be shared. Not everyone is going to be a Billy Graham, Kenneth Hagin, or Apostle Paul. I think sometimes we do ourselves a disservice by suggesting high expectations to our members. The vast majority of us are not constructed for public speaking... which frankly is the most important part of spreading the gospel. So what do you do? You relax. You follow your spirit. We all have gifts differing. There are no brainers. When it is time to lay hands on the sick... be there! Don't worry about what does or does not happen. Do it. When there is a deliverance session, where a demon is being dealt with... be there. Praying and interceding if nothing else. If there is a person in need for money... even if you only have a few dollars to give. Be there.
I wrote a book some years ago about the connection between being a Deacon and entering into your ministry. There is an interesting verse the Lord opened up to me:

The word "degree" here means a "step up" or graduation. The word "boldness" literally means a "fluency," "freedom" or "confidence" of speech. The Greek word for "boldness" here actually has the word "rheo" which means to "pour forth speech." This "fluency" and "pouring forth of speech" is "in the faith which is in Christ Jesus..." Faith is of the spirit, so this fluency and pouring forth of speech is going to be prophesying.

Look at the same wording used by Paul:


This fluency of speech would cause him to "make known the mystery of the gospel."
The revelation of mysteries is a result of prophecy, as seen in 1 Corinthians 13:2


And the usage in Philippians:


Again, Paul speaks of those who received this "fluency of speech" to speak the "LOGOS" without fear. The word "speech" here is the same word used in 1 Corinthians 2:13. The word carries with it the idea of "utterance" and speaking the "highest and holiest" of speech.


The point in all this is that this "fluency" and "pouring forth of speech" can be obtained by fulfilling the duties of a deacon. This can be seen in the life of Stephen and Philip, who started our waiting on tables, and ended up preaching and doing some of the most amazing things in the new testament.
(Acts Chapters 6,8,21)

If you truly desire these manifestations, you will begin with deacon or servantry work. There is a connection here in that your compassion for people and their needs will begin to grow. As your compassion grows along with your faith, the spirit of Christ in your will speak forth words to minister to the needs of the body. But you will start small. Do not expect to move mountains or raise the dead in one day. Grow in compassion and faith each day. This is a life long activity.



Start with the no-brainers. Do the things you know to do. You will receive a "step up" and graduate to bigger things.

Some People are gifted in Helps or works.

They are the faithful in the Church, or workplace to be the first there and last to leave.

Pastors and others can count on them to work side by side on whatever the task.

They are a Blessing to everyone, but do not seek the spotlight.
They may not teach or Preach, but their Wittness for Christ shines through to others.

A Deacon is a honorable person in the Church, they must be trusted to carry out task that are often times of sensitive in nature.
Deacons can seek to control the whole Church and that's not a good thing.
It's called a Deacon possessed Church.
They forget Christ is the Head of the Church, not their Wife's.
